On June 25, 2025, the signing ceremony of the "Industry University Research" strategic cooperation between Qingdao Liyang Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao University of Science and Technology was held grandly at Qingdao University of Science and Technology. Li Wei, General Manager of Liyang Rubber Technology, Lin Mimi, Deputy General Manager, Xue Fengxi, Director of the R&D Department, and a delegation of five people, as well as Xuan Zongwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Wang Hongzhen, Chen Qi, Zhou Rui, and other directors of the Rubber Teaching and Research Office, attended the ceremony together. At the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions, with a warm and harmonious atmosphere, and determined the direction for further cooperation in the future.

Subsequently, representatives from both sides took the stage to sign a strategic cooperation agreement amidst warm applause, marking the official launch of deep cooperation between the school and enterprise in the rubber field.

After the agreement was signed, Xuan Zongwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and Chen Qi, Director of the Rubber Teaching and Research Office, respectively awarded the plaques of "Industry University Research Cooperation Base" and "School Enterprise Internship Base" to Li Wei, General Manager of Liyang Rubber.

Finally, Li Wei, General Manager of Qingdao Liyang Rubber, and his delegation visited and exchanged ideas with the Key Laboratory of Rubber Materials and Engineering of the Ministry of Education.
