School-Enterprise Collaborative Innovation: Qingdao Liyang and Qingdao University of Science and Technology Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On June 25, 2025, the signing ceremony for the "Industry-University-Research" strategic cooperation agreement between Qingdao Liyang Rubber Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao University of Science and Technology was grandly held at Qingdao University of Science and Technology. The ceremony was attended by a delegation of five from Liyang Rubber Technology, including General Manager Mr. Li Wei, Deputy General Manager Ms. Lin Mimi, and R&D Director Mr. Xue Fengxi, as well as representatives from Qingdao University of Science and Technology, such as Mr. Xuan Zongwei, Party Secretary of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, and Mr. Wang Hongzhen, Mr. Chen Qi, and Mr. Zhou Rui from the Rubber Teaching and Research Office. During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth and insightful discussions in a warm and harmonious atmosphere, setting a clear direction for deeper collaboration in the future.

After, representatives from both parties signed the strategic cooperation agreement, officially marking the launch of in-depth collaboration between the university and enterprise in the field of rubber technology.

Following the signing ceremony, Mr. Xuan Zongwei, Party Secretary of the School of Polymer Science and Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Chen Qi, Director of the Rubber Teaching and Research Office, presented two honorary plaques to Mr. Li Wei, General Manager of Liyang Rubber Technology. The plaques respectively designated the establishment of an "Industry-University-Research Collaboration Base" and a "University-Enterprise Internship Base".

Finally, Mr. Li Wei, General Manager of Qingdao Liyang Rubber, and his entourage visited and exchanged views with the Key Laboratory of Rubber and Plastic Materials and Engineering of the Ministry of Education.
